Colin Henderson and Jeff Bell: Songs you may know

1 September 2019 $10 Members $15 Non-members $5 Students with ID

Jeff and Colin both respected musicians in their own rights are getting together on one of the rare appearances to present a set list of some favourite singers and songwriters from the last 30 years.

Jeff has a much admired voice and enjoys performing ballads with a country twist. Also he is talented harmonica player and guitarist.

Colin is known for his sympathetic but forceful guitar style, sometimes even dabbling on a Mandola. A huge rock fan from growing up in London during the sixties but also enjoys the gentler ballads.
As a duo they have been guests at The Canterbury Folk Festival held at Waipara and are regularly featured performers at the Christchurch Folk Club. They have also featured as part of New Zealand Music Month performing at one of the many library
gigs.

Both have appeared in many line ups in the past, but there long friendship means the opportunity to play as a duo whilst rare is always a pleasure and we hope you come along.

Once again we can promise you a laid back night and songs you can sing along to.

Doors open 7pm. Performance starts at 7.30pm, you will get a seat if you arrive close to 7pm.

VENUE: Irish Society Hall, 29 Domain Terrace, Spreydon The hall is situated up the long driveway, directly next to Domain Park, and there is plenty of well-lit off-street parking.
