Liam Kennedy Clark
$5 Students with ID
Originally hailing from the small town of Ashburton, Liam Kennedy-Clark certainly didn’t let that hold him back from achieving big things! He started learning piano and trumpet, as well as performing in theatre shows at age 7. By age 10, Liam started singing and playing solo on stage, then at 11 picked up his first guitar.
Liam went swept through the Country Music award scene, with many accolades to his name.
At only 21, Liam is already an internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter and a respected session and backing musician to some of the great names of country music, such as Lee Kernaghan, Adam Harvey and the Bushwackers.
Alongside popular Australian band, The Wolfe Brothers, Liam was a member of the touring band for Lee Kernaghan’s ‘25thAnniversary Album’ tour across Australia during 2017 and 2018.
In 2016 and 2017, Liam earned himself a place as a top 10 finalist in the Toyota Star Maker contest, and in 2016 went on to become a Mentor at the CMAA Academy of Country Music in Tamworth.
A multi-instrumentalist, Liam draws his inspiration from many genres from Blues, Country to Rock, and has been described as having a ‘rich, old-school’ sound. “A brilliant new singer songwriter, a gun guitarist … one of Australian country music’s fastest rising stars!” – Lee Kernaghan
Following on from the success of his second EP “Travelling Lines”, now based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia, Liam plans to hit the studio to produce his new album – including new songs, with a fresh new sound. His latest single “Old Family Home” has just been released through Social Family Records.
