An evening of acoustic bliss not to be missed with Celtic Soul /Folk Blues Artist
Izzy Miller Bell accompanied by Harry Harrison, Justine S and Guests.A singer songwriter and eloquent interpreter of song on a musical odyssey spanning 3 decades and 3 continents. From Europe to Australia and New Zealand. Izzy has performed on various platforms, from the streets, schools and prisons to major local,national and international festivals and events. The woman and face behind the Christchurch Pop Up Concert Series Izzy makes a 3-concert date whistle stop tour to launch her new album before heading over to Europe

Hot off the press the album Madame Tragedie represents the best of her personal contribution to the ‘pop up series’ and offers a collection of original composition and new arrangements that draw upon and pay homage to her Celtic roots and musical influences that have shaped her as a folk blues singer songwriter. Ma Bell will be joined on stage by Harry Harrison on multi stringed instruments & Justine S featuring on sax and flute along with special guests who worked on the album and accompanied her on the 7-year post EQ pop up journey. Limber up your vocals and join us for a night of pop up magic with Ma Bell & Guests.

Doors open 7.00pm Performance starts at 7.30pm, you will get a seat if you arrive close to 7 pm.

VENUE: Irish Society Hall, 29 Domain Terrace, Spreydon The hall is situated up the long driveway, directly next to Domain Park, and there is plenty of well-lit off-street parking.

DOOR SALES CASH ONLY: Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake available during the break, also bar facilities for cold refreshments throughout the night, Eftpos available for purchases only, no cash-out facility. Please remember to bring your current Folk Club membership card as this is required for new club licensing.
