Madeleine Howard
Hailing from Hawkes Bay, Singer – Songwriter Madeleine Howard infuses her pop-folk songs with heartfelt lyrics and catchy melodies.
In 2020, Madeleine was a part of the Artist Development programme at SOLE Music Academy. Under the mentorship of neo-soul artist Sacha Vee and Will McGillivray (nomad), Madeleine successfully released her debut EP ‘Just Reaching Out’ in August 2020, to critical acclaim (Muzix.net.nz, NZ Musician.)
Her debut single ‘No More’ was selected for the NZ On Air New New Tracks Compilation in May last year. With features on international blogs and recognition from NZ Pop artist Ladyhaxke, Madeleine is one to watch as she emerges into the New Zealand music scene.
Doors open 7pm. Performance starts at 7.30pm, you will get a seat if you arrive close to 7pm.
VENUE: Irish Society Hall, 29 Domain Terrace, Spreydon The hall is situated up the long driveway, directly next to Domain Park, and there is plenty of well-lit off-street parking.
DOOR SALES CASH ONLY: Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake available during the break, also bar facilities for cold refreshments throughout the night, Eftpos available for purchases only, no cash-out facility. Please remember to bring your current Folk Club membership card as this is required for new club licensing.
