The final concert for 2023 showcases our membership talent, highlights our winning soloists, groups, bands and duets, such as Tony Hale and Jon Hooker, The Saffron Sisters, David Evison, The Flamin’ D’s, Copper and Steel, Kristina Godfrey and Tony Hale and some surprise performances.

It is going to be a magnificent show and one you won’t want to miss, all based on our traditional Christmas BBQ, our thank you for the support over the year. Members you will enjoy the BBQ and concert for free, however essential that you book so we know catering numbers.

The theme for this collection of eclectic and magnificent offerings will be “A Fruitful Life”, think creatively and broadly to capture a range of songs and contributions that will touch on the theme and unfold for us as the audience.

Of course there will be the obvious, such as “Lemon Tree”; “Strawberry Fields Forever”, Day’O (Banana Boat Song), “Blueberry Hill”, “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree..”, “In My Life”, “Circle of Life”, “You decorated my Life”, “You are the Sunshine of my Life”, “Walk of LIfe”, or thinking outside the box songs from movies such as “The Life of Brian” eg “Always look on the Bright Side of Life”, sorry already taken, or an acoustic arrangement of song by bands/groups such as The Cranberries, Blind Melon, Bananarama, or Smashing Pumpkins.

We look forward with great anticipation to your ideas, proposed songs and offers to perform so please contact and email Judi ASAP to reserve your song choices!

You are most welcome to invite friends and family to attend both BBQ and concert for the reasonable price of $15. We’d love you to encourage non-members to come along and hear our amazing music and enjoy the warm and friendly vibe the Club has. Why not make up a table for the meal and concert.

For catering purposes, we need confirmation of numbers by Sunday 3rd December for a night of great music shared with friends who enjoy live acoustic music
