Andrew White, supported by Isabella Miller Bell – 7 May 2023

A night where travel and love were the themes of the original music ably shared by both Andrew and Izzy. The concert was appealing, full of musical maestro thrills, spectacular finger style sequencing on the guitar by Andrew who could make this instrument sing, alongside his own haunting vocals. Izzy opened the night with her composed and eloquent introductions, that led us on a trail of her journey through relocations, traversing the challenges of composing music, expressing the camaraderie and support she had experienced from Andrew’s friendship, song-writing and music. The tales of the White travels through the inspirational scenery of life and the emotional fountains that he has sampled from along the waysides and meanderings, crafted amazing pictures through engaging vocals and guitar to illustrate, with the patter that gave understanding of the paths that had led Andrew to these song creations. Andrew brings exceptionally crafted songs and tunes, a sense of humour, wrapped into a ball of talent that unravels with each offering, however also woven together again to wrap the audience’s heart in a well-shaped blanket to truly warm the compassion of heart and humanity. -Judi Smitheram President/Secretary
