Christchurch Folk Music Club

Monique Aiken and Ryan Fisherman 28.04.19

Two local young talented local musicians shared their music, their collaborations, the inspiration behind their creativity and most of all their love of performing.

A night where the craft of singer-songwriting was truly to the fore, as Monique and Ryan both shared their own works generously throughout the concert. These solo gems mingled with the mixes of their individual styles creating duets where enhanced and co-operatively charted collaborations became treats. The harmony’s beautiful as two performers made the already beautiful shine even further.

There will be a long career in music ahead for both these two musicians, their strong foundations pay tribute to the Christchurch music scene as well as the inspiration, support given so generously by family and friends underpinned with some fine tutoring in musicianship.

Local musicians bringing locally crafted music to air, a truly inspiring concert.
