• Canterbury Folk Festival
  • Canterbury’s own Family Festival of Music, held each year at Easter.
  • In 2026 the festival celebrates 50 years, bringing fabulous international and national guest artists to share our passion for live acoustic music and fellowship.
• Waimate Folk Festival
  • The Waimate Folk Festival is held once during the winter over King’s Birthday Weekend and once during the summer during Waitangi Weekend. It is held at Gunns Bush, Waimate.

  • Dunedin’s summer festival taking place over the New Years.
• Wellington Community Choir
  • Meets for rehearsals during term time. Approx 150 singers attend each rehearsal. Very friendly. Visitors welcome – just turn up $5 ($4) per session. Please visit our website for further information.
