Ryan Neville and the Midnight Blues Show Band

Ryan-Neville-2018Born in Christchurch New Zealand, Ryan Neville has been entertaining for 25 years. Having a huge appetite for Blues and its Colourful legacy, Ryan has with guitar in hand, song in his back pocket been taking the world by storm.. Having an inspired blues soul this has lead him to many legendary clubs in the USA including the Crossroads (Clarksdale), Las Vegas, Memphis, New Orleans, Texas, New York and Nashville and Route 66 tour. Recent shows have been coined “The Story of the Blues” as we get to relive the legends through Ryan’s Music

Ryan has always been a keen collector of electric and acoustic guitars. The collection includes some very well looked after Les Paul’s, Fender Stratocasters and Telecasters.

One of the most important facets of stage craft, Ryan points out, is having a very tight fun, creative and loyal band. “If we have fun onstage, the audience will have fun” quotes Ryan, “We are entertainers, our role is to entertain, lift people, give back”

Hand picked, not only for there stunning, creative ability, but there for there personality and character. The Midnight Blues Band have forged a name for themselves amongest Blues aficionados. Emmalene Rosey Sparey (Vocals), Chantelle Rakich (Keys,Vocals), Steve Hill (Bass), Fernando Gomez (Drums), are the driving force behind each show! Each member of the band is a multi instrumentalist, with many accolades to there names.

Each performance takes on its own flavour, with songs from artist such as Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, Bo Diddly, BB King, Nina Simone, Norah Jones, with slightly modern arrangement.

Doors open 7.00pm Performance starts at 7.30pm, you will get a seat if you arrive close to 7 pm.

VENUE: Irish Society Hall, 29 Domain Terrace, Spreydon The hall is situated up the long driveway, directly next to Domain Park, and there is plenty of well-lit off-street parking.

DOOR SALES CASH ONLY: Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake available during the break, also bar facilities for cold refreshments throughout the night, Eftpos available for purchases only, no cash-out facility. Please remember to bring your current Folk Club membership card as this is required for new club licensing.
